“Casa Ventura and its Host Karin made our stay in Firenze amazing. Casa Ventura is ideally located, very clean, and well appointed. My children ranked it number one for wifi speeds on our European vacation. We were there during the heat wave this summer, but the AC kept us cool and happy. The outdoor patios and observation deck is impressive, providing views of the city. We were lucky enough to stay during the Saint Johns celebration that ends in a 45-minute firework show over the Arno River. The observation deck at Casa Ventura made it an unforgettable experience. Everything you need or would want to visit is within walking distance. Our stay was exceptional, and we would be excited to stay here again. I highly recommend it.”

“Wow! This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in our travels around Europe. The photos online were beautiful and our expectations were met and far exceeded. The house is in a beautiful location with stunning views and sunsets yet an easy walk into central Florence. We had 3 children with us (ages 10,8,6) and they had no issues with the walk into town- in fact they looked forward to our walk down the “secret pathway” every day. The house has every modern convenience that you could want – the beds were so comfortable! Karin was a wonderful host and truly went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! I only wish we could have stayed longer than 4 days. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Florence.”>

“Casa Ventura more than lived up to its many five star reviews. From day one, after being graciously welcomed, we felt comfortable and relaxed in this beautiful home. The apartment itself is bright and sunny with private terraces offering lovely views of this amazing city. Everything was well designed, utilizing the space to provide ample storage space for our personal belongings. it was easy to settle in and really felt like home in no time at all. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything one needs to prepare/serve meals and enjoy beverages and apperitvios other inside or al fresco on one of the beautiful terraces. The beds were extremely comfortable and allowed us a restful night’s sleep after a long day of walking and sightseeing. The apartment is spotless and every detail is well maintained. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations and found them all to be most satisfying and the food was really delicious. Karin is a kind and lovely person who takes great pride in this home and is genuine in her concern for the comfort of her guests. We would highly recommend Casa Ventura to anyone who plans to visit Florence. We hope to return someday.”

“This is our first experience with Air B&B…perhaps Karin has spoiled us for all of the rest! Casa Ventura is a very special home with attention to every detail. The location just overlooking Florence and very convenient to get into the center is even better than we expected. Such a lovely experience to spend time on the beautiful patio overlooking the hills. Karin is a very welcoming host with so many tips and ideas for the local area. She arranged pick up for us, one couple from the airport and one couple from the train and was there to meet us and explain everything about her home. Karin connected us with a chef to come in and cook a meal for us…Patrizia was lovely and the food divine! The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need, there is a washer and dryer, an elevator which was very convenient for getting luggage upstairs. We certainly felt at home in Casa Ventura…”

“Although the pictures of this place are fabulous, nothing can compare to experiencing this home in real life. There are so many little exceptional surprise amenities in this home that I almost feel like I would be cheating you by revealing them. Two words though- heated floors! Also- to have such luxurious and roomy bathrooms while traveling in Italy should definitely be appreciated. You truly feel like a celebrity staying here. The home owners have thought of everything that you need, and even things you didn’t know you need! Wireless chargers by each bed! Speaking of beds, they will be the most comfortable ones you have ever slept in. Whoever had the pleasure of the master suite in this home, live it up! You can roll over 5 times and still be on the bed! As far as outdoor space, I can’t believe how lovely and comfortable their set up is. They even have a retractable awning in case that gorgeous Tuscan sun gets a little too harsh on the back patio. Making a meal in their state of the art kitchen and then enjoying it on the dining room table on the back patio is what dreams are made of! I haven’t even gotten to the leather lined elevator but I mean, hello! How lavish is that? I have been to Florence every year for the past 5 years and have stayed in an Airbnb every time. This was by far the most heavenly experience and I’m already making plans for next year to travel there and never leave the home!”

The home is situated in the hills of Florence just. 20 minute walk outside of the city center and only 10 minutes from Piazza Michelangelo. The home is filled with every technology to make your stay very safe (already a safe neighborhood), in touch with the world if you want WiFi and TV, and automation. The furniture, decor, appointments are impeccable and of the nicest quality…Villa Ventura even has an elevator! We enjoyed our stay and would be certain to return during our next trip to Firenze.”

“Absolutely stunning!!! Beautiful villa, perfect location and great hosts! The pictures aren’t able to capture the beauty and amazing accommodations. Fully renovated home with all of the finest touches including full blackout blinds, Bluetooth speakers indoors and out, elevator if the spiral staircase is a challenge and more…they thought of all the details! We were first time visitors to Florence and words cannot describe the beauty in and around the city. We were traveling with 4 adults and the 3 bedrooms with attached bathrooms was perfect for us. There is an additional small room and full bathroom in the basement near the laundry room that could be used for another guest or couple (fold out sofa bed). Setup can easily accommodate 6-8 people. Our stay at Villa Ventura was more than perfect and would highly recommend the location and accommodations for anyone visiting Tuscany area. We flew into Rome, rented a car and drove up to Villa Ventura. It was around a 3-hour drive from Rome. The villa is down a narrow drive, but has a gate and area to turn around/park the vehicle, which was really handy for us. The villa is located on the hillside over looking Florence and the other side you have views that you would hope to see in the Tuscan countryside. We stayed 5-nights, exploring Florence and the surrounding Tuscan towns/coast line. Karin provided us with a contact to do a cooking-lesson and dinner at the villa, also highly-recommended. Karin was there to greet us upon arrival and provide a great overview of Florence and what to see/where to go. Any question we had, Karin was happy to answer. We can’t say it enough, it was a perfect experience and we will return as soon as we can!”

The Villa is beautifully and recently renovated to a very high standard, with marble en suite baths, gorgeous views of the Tuscan hills and downtown Florence and is an easy, short walk down an old stone path to town (and a slightly less easy walk back up — but good for burning off gelato!) Karin is a wonderful host, who responded quickly to our every request, curated suggestions for things to do in Florence around the interests of our family and ensured our safe and timely arrival from the airport with great directions. We would enthusiastically recommend Villa Ventura for anyone looking to stay in Florence in a place that offers all the luxury of a fine boutique hotel while enjoying the creature comforts of home.”

“An absolute gem in, for us, an ideal location…close enough to walk to everything, far enough away to have solitude. Casa Ventura is amazingly spacious with the highest highest quality of amenities. Karin’s hospitality is above and beyond. So so kind. The Villa is located on a hill but there is a wide path right at the entrance that takes one down to the city center in 15 minutes. For some it might feel steep and when raining can be slippery but we enjoyed the walk both going down and walking back up after a wonderful meal in the city. The view going down is amazing as you can see all of Florence. It is a magical place. I would give it 5/5 stars and recommend highly.”

“The only bad thing I can say about this apartment, is that you would not want to leave it…. Karin is super nice and helpful, the apartment is clean, and decorated with a warm and inviting atmosphere. “The villa is fantastic. My wife, young baby and I stayed there for 8 days and loved it. The amenities are great, the villa has been refurbished to the highest standards you could wish for and it is located in a perfect part of Florence. It is a 5-10 minute to San Niccolò (there’s a great Gelato place nearby – much cheaper as well than those located in central Florence) and it’s about another 10 minute walk to the main centre of Florence, but you feel out of the hustle and bustle when you are at the villa. We spent a lot of time on the outside terrace which has beautiful views of the countryside and sunset. There is also the view of Duomo from the main bedroom which is stunning, particularly in the evening. Karin herself is an incredible host. We were arriving late (for various reasons) and driving in from Bologna and Karin offered to get us some groceries for dinner that evening and for breakfast the next morning – just what we needed and I don’t think many hosts would do the same. She gives excellent recommendations for where to eat in San Niccolò and Florence and is super responsive if you need anything during your stay. We also met Karin’s husband who was very nice to talk to and very welcoming. All in all, it is a great place to stay and experience Florence and we would 100% stay again. “

“Best apartment in Florence. In fact, one of the best I have ever stayed in- anywhere. Stop looking and book this. I had high expectations for this apartment, and Karin still managed to exceed them. Two wonderful bedrooms, both with good beds make this ideal even for two couples. All linens are first class hotel quality, as are the beds. In many ways, it feels like a first class hotel but with all the comfort of an apartment. The kitchen is well equipped for actual cooking, and the terrace with BBQ and dining area make for a magical evening at home or pre-dinner cocktails. Add the rooftop additional terrace with Duomo view and, well, you can’t go wrong. Karin is an amazing host, full of local recommendations and details, available to help and so locally knowledgeable. Her dining recommendations were also spot on, and we are very food focused. She even helped out when one of us got sick and we needed a place to stay for an extra night. Above and beyond anything she needed to do, she is just a wonderful and kind person. I will stay here every time I need a place in Florence, and will recommend it to all my friends and family. “This was my first time staying at a rental for vacation. I think that Karin has spoiled me. It is a prime location, just steps away from the Ponte Vecchico. It is also close to restaurants, shopping and even the grocery. The flat is amazing. From the comfortable and beautiful furniture, the posh and spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and living room, to the serene garden terraces, everything is well thought out and impeccably executed. We had an issue with hot water (which was the repair guy’s fault for breaking something) and Karin and her husband were so helpful in addressing our needs as soon as possible. Not only was the issue fixed, she even gave us a gift to make up for any trouble. If you are going to Florence, I highly recommend staying here. On my next trip to Florence, I will be looking them up again.”

“When we first saw the pictures of this beautiful apartment we knew we wanted to stay there. It was beyond perfection. The location is absolutely amazing can walk everywhere, very safe and felt like a local! It is nestled right by the river and two luxury hotels. Everything in the apartment is top quality better than most 5 star hotels. Beds, linens, bathrooms, closets, kitchen items, safe, and laundry were all excellent. The layout with one bedroom on one side and other away was perfect for our teenage daughters and would be great staying with another couple as each room is spacious and has their own private full bath. Our favorite thing to do was wake up each morning and end each night on the three patios. To see the city of Florence from the roof top was pure delight. Karin our host was simply fantastic! She answered all my questions promptly and sent loads of ideas and suggestions of things to do and places to eat. We hope to be back someday and stay in this gorgeous place.”

“I’ve just returned from another stay at Casa Ventura. When Karin, the owner, showed me around the flat the first time I stayed there, I suspected that leaving would be painful. The flat is decorated in a clean and contemporary style but it is inviting and very comfortable. The bedrooms are large with beautiful en suite bathrooms. The kitchen is well laid out, and contains everything you would need to make a proper meal. Moreover, there is a generously proportioned terrace with a full-sized table (and umbrella for shade) to enjoy meals outside. We so enjoyed being in the flat that we often returned to eat lunch and dinner there rather than eat out. The whole flat is spacious and light-filled, with gorgeous views from the many windows. In the end, leaving the keys on the hall table and pulling the door shut behind me was every bit as painful as I thought it would be. Hence, my return visit to Casa Ventura. We had a wonderful time, and will be making a reservation for next spring. We returned to the flat because we feel it offers an exceptional value. Karin is a consummate professional, so making making arrangements (whether for checking in or arranging a taxi for an early flight) is effortless. And, because Karin has been so thoughtful in arranging the flat, you don’t have to accommodate yourself to the flat—it works beautifully for you. Finally, the flat is quiet, comfortable, and so centrally located you can walk anywhere (including an excellent grocery store just on the other side of the Ponte Vecchio). Staying in a flat can be a significant expense, and you want to be confident in your choice. You will not regret choosing Casa Ventura.”

“Casa Ventura, an immaculate apartment in the heart of Florence, is the perfect spot from which to enjoy this amazing city. From the beginning, Karen was extremely helpful. She arranged transportation from the train station and later to the airport. She also connected us with an amazing personal tour guide, and even made dinner reservation upon our request. The apartment is a study of elegant efficiency. All the spaces are perfectly designed to maximize space and utility. Motorized black-out shutters provided privacy and darkness at night, throughout the apartment. The 360 degree views from the top terrace were amazing, and an ideal place to enjoy the sunset! Mere steps from Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi, and Palazo Vecchio, all of Florence is at your fingertips! We loved staying here and hope to return soon!”

“My husband and I stayed at this wonderful apartment in mid September. The apartment is well designed and has top of the line furnishings and amenities. It is quite clear that a lot of thought and care went into its final design. Just beautiful. Karin was very helpful in giving us a recommendations on restaurants. She will not steer you wrong!! The location is perfect. Head out for a day of sightseeing, return to the apartment and enjoy a glass of wine on the roof top terrace in the early evening. “The apartment is located in a wonderful area just steps from the Ponte Vecchio and the finest shopping in all of Florence. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and visiting the nearby restaurants and shops. Also, most of the major sites are within easy walking distance. The apartment is charming, immaculate and very-well equipped. The master bedroom has its own terrace and the second bedroom has its own little kitchenette and TV. We loved coming home at the end of the day to this warm environment. Karin and her husband were perfect hosts from the moment we booked. Prior to our arrival we had many questions that we were promptly addressed in details. The tourist information left in the apartment was not only comprehensive but proved to be very acuurate. We have booked apartments on several occasions and this experience has excelled all others. We will certainly stay here when we return to Florence.

“Our family of five, including three teenagers, spent three nights at Casa Ventura. This is the rare case where reality is better than pictures. Florence was our last stop after Rome and Venice. Casa Ventura was a highlight in an entirely magical trip! The location is perfect and the views are incredible, but the thoughtful amenities are what really stood out for us. The high quality sheets, bathroom toiletries, nespresso and coffee makers, books, oudoor grill and washing machine were luxuries we did not have in other high-end apartments. To top it off, I forgot my hanging clothes, which Karin shipped to me. I can’t say enough – we are hoping to return to Florence and Casa Ventura very soon.

“Absolutely spectacular. This apartment is exquisite! Attention paid to every detail – design, technology, livability – all top notch. With each passing day we enjoyed the apartment more. Rare  and treasured to find a rooftop deck in Florence with 360 degree views. The apartment is built with such quality – from the lighting to the closet layout to materials used. It feels luxurious yet comfortable. I lived in Italy for four years so I compare with some level of understanding and this apartment is truly standout.  “This apartment was simply perfection. And we didn’t think it was possible to adore Florence more than we did already! Karin’s place is so carefully appointed and immaculate in every way. Where to start? The glossy-white kitchen with leather barstools and coffee equipment, the open floor plan that opens further to the outdoors with the two same-level terraces, to the built-in sound system, the many lighting choices in the spaces to suit our mood, beds soo comfortable, closets high-end and efficient, bathrooms entirely Carrera marble. Warning, the one-touch louvered window shades, controlling all the windows in the apartment at once, ENTIRELY block light when fully lowered, so be careful using these, or you may lose half of a day! The apartment is decorated tastefully and on the minimalist side which is calming to us, it is what we look for. Exceptions were a few carefully placed collections of intriguing books – very little time to read, we are in Florence, after all …but nice to know they are there. And then of course the crowning jewels are the rooftop terraces which give 360-degree views of the lovely city. The question is not will we return to this apartment, but when. On practical note, we were supposed to have been six people, and we knew this would be a stretch, that two of us would share a pullout, but I was willing to do anything to get us to those terraces. We ended up just two people, so it was quite lux. It is perfect for four. In terms of access, the apartment cannot get any more central, located essentially at the Ponte Vecchio, and on a small piazza convenient for dropping off and picking up. There is one flight of stairs from the sixth floor to reach of the elevator to the apartment that is on 7th. Karin was so very kind and generous in all communications, and quick as well with responses. It was so hard to leave your place, Karin, grazie mille, and we will see you again!”

 “My time in Florence this past August was magical but as with any vacation travel, where you go “home” to at the end of an evening plays a large role in your travel enjoyment. I must admit I was a bit nervous having never purchased and stayed at a vacation rental. To that end, it was my first trip to Italy and with all the unknowns of travelling abroad can bring, I consider myself very blessed and lucky to have found such a beautiful, relaxing, clean and convenient to all major attractions rental. Not too mention, the outstanding service I received from Karin really far exceeded my expectations. I had a million questions in advance from where to eat to where I could safely jog in the mornings. She responded quickly, professionally and made me feel like more of an old friend versus someone renting her unit. The rental itself…all I can say is WOW! The views from the roof top terrace, the bells ringing in the morning, all the quiet time spent lounging on the first floor terrace next to an olive tree plant…just made my experience and trip to Italy one I will remember for a lifetime. Before our arrival Karin, our host, sent us lots of information about the local attractions and restaurants. We didn’t have to do any research ourselves. We just turned up and had a great time! When we made the reservation the apartment looked amazing and we were not disappointed! It lived up to the description and the photographs and much more! We felt really at home there; it is luxurious and comfortable. And the views from the terraces are spectacular. The location Is perfect too. Easy access to great shopping, restaurants and all the sightseeing this beautiful city has to offer.
